Many said it could never be done, that the fickle winds of Alum Creek could not be tamed. But Ron and I have logged many successful sessions on this inland body of water. Sharing this lake is wind surfers and power boats of all sizes as well as a large contingent of PWC. Here we see a 26' Sea Ray with onlookers watching from a safe distance. Not everyone was so respectful of maintaining a safe distance downwind. A Jet Ski came within 10 feet of my person and could hear me yelling at him to pay attention he was so close. Fortunately I saw him and slowed my speed or we may have collided. |
