Anyone riding soon/lately? Posted: 17 Feb 08 1:24 PM (United States) |

| Hey Ken, I met you probably about a month ago at that park off of 71 south of downtown. Have you been out at Alum Creek lately? I drove up there and saw that it could have some potential. Let me know when the next is that you're heading out. It'd be nice to get a session in.

Ron and I were going to ride Alum today, but it was partially frozen over. Right now conditions are in between. Not frozen enough to use skis/snowboards but not open enough to go on the water. Give it a few more days of this temp and we may get to go on the water sooner rather than later. March is usually one of the better months for wind if you have some good cold water gear. Ken I am itching to ride too. We went to Buck Creek and rode on the water two weeks ago on 8-10m kites. It was blowing 20-30mph.

| yeah, I have a 5mm wetsuit. I can ride year-round with that back home. So no worries about water temp. Class right now doesn't allow for much free time (if any) but come late March and April; I should have some time to get out and ride.
