Ron and I made the Trek out to Buck Creek a few weekends ago. The wind was on the low end for the 21M BFKs, but it was also amazingling consistent. We were told (twice) to stay out of the swim area so be careful. The water patrol was not clear on where exactly we could be the first time (in our defense). There were only 2 dozen people and about 8 boats on the whole lake. This place would be ideal for a NW wind because you could launch from one end of the beach and land at the other end. NE could be good too.

PS When they remove the bouys in Fall this Beach will be awesome for any N direction (mostly onshore/side onshore)! |

I live near buck creek and i just got a kite and have the training video Zero to Hero on the way if your planing on coming out any time post on here. there are so many places to use a snowboard or skis around here as soon as we get some snow. As soon as i get the video i plan on making my first atempt to fly it any tips would be awsome. If i get it down ok before the snow comes i think i'm gunna try and make a landboard witch could get interesting. |
